Dr. Bae is new to Northern Virginia but is excited to bring quality eye care as if it were her hometown. After graduating from VCU in 2013, she moved to Tennessee where she completed her training at the Southern College of Optometry and obtained her Doctor of Optometry in 2019. During her time at SCO, she completed her clinical rotations at John Kenyon Eye Center and Pacific Eye Care. It was in California that she found her love for private practice, because it allows her to get personal with patients and truly build relationships that are lasting.
Dr. Bae is passionate about serving the underserved communities and has been on multiple service trips to various Central and South American countries. She spent five months after graduation volunteering in eye clinics throughout Belize. She also has a passion for myopia management and hope's to help children with their vision needs now to better set them up for their future's.
When she’s not in the clinic then you can catch her volunteering at church or in a café with friends!
